AUNO BATH
"A new perspective on bathroom environments"
Playing with color and minimal aesthetics
We developed the art direction and set design for Auno Bath with the goal of redefining how bathroom products are perceived. When we began this project, we explored the idea of presenting the collection in an original way that could evoke the feeling of a bathroom without relying on traditional elements. The result is a series of images with a minimal, colorful aesthetic where each piece is shown in a decontextualized environment that highlights its versatility and form.
Our work involved selecting specific colors and finishes for the products, designing unique settings, and choosing props that complemented the visual narrative. This project was realized in close collaboration with photographer Juan Antonio Partal, ensuring a perfect balance between technical precision and creative expression.

Beyond traditional white environments
We all know how these pieces look in white, but the intention here was to make the products stand out within a modern, vibrant context. By moving away from literal bathroom representations, we allowed the geometry and materiality of the washbasins and furniture to become the focal point, appealing to a design conscious audience.
Strategic sets, props, and palettes
Once we selected the primary pieces for the campaign, we focused on the strategic design of the sets. We carefully curated the color palettes of the backgrounds to create a dialogue with the product finishes. Every prop was selected to add depth and context to the scene, ensuring that the final images felt cohesive and aligned with the brand's new visual identity.
Capturing the geometry of shower trays
One of the most significant challenges in this art direction project was finding a compelling way to showcase the shower trays. Since these are flat objects typically placed on the floor, we used specific camera angles and architectural planes to transmit the feeling of a real environment. This allowed us to show technical details and textures while maintaining the high end conceptual tone of the entire series.
A cohesive visual language for the bathroom
We developed a variety of sets to ensure that different product categories, from washbasins to large furniture, shared a uniform visual language. This consistency is vital for manufacturers looking to build a recognizable brand image that transcends the functional nature of the product.
