GRANADA COLLECTION
“A timeless twist”
Greetings from Granada
We developed the Granada collection as a tribute to the city of Granada, a place deeply connected to my family roots and childhood memories. Working in collaboration with the American firm Gantri, we sought to capture the soul of the city, from the organic geometry of the pomegranate to the artisanal lights that line its historic streets.
Our goal was to merge this Mediterranean essence with the innovative possibilities of 3D printing technology. The result is a collection of wall and table lights that feels familiar and warm, yet presents new details to be discovered through use, bringing a contemporary Mediterranean character to any interior space.

Contemporary Mediterranean aesthetics and lighting legacy
Granada Collection explores a contemporary look at classic Spanish design. They keep the legacy of the local artisans alive with a nod to old school street lamps, while the clean, minimal aesthetic gives the lights a modern edge. The earthy tones provide a sense of warmth straight from the Mediterranean.
HIDDEN DETAILS
Much like the handmade street lamps of Granada, this collection embraces a subtle yet thoughtful design. When lit, the diffuser reveals a ribbed pattern similar to a paper lantern. This detail gives the lights an effortless earthy feel while staying true to the intended minimal aesthetic.
INTERACTIVE DIFFUSER
“Granada” is also the Spanish word for Pomegranate and while many think of the fruit growing with the crown facing up, it actually grows with the crown facing down. As a playful nod to his favorite city, the light gives the user the choice of placing the diffuser upside down or right side up. Two designs in one light.
A color palette inspired by the Alhambra
The chromatic identity of the collection is rooted in the city’s architectural heritage. We selected Sedona red, sand, and stone, colors that are naturally found in the surroundings of the Alhambra. These tones, combined with the organic shapes, ensure the pieces remain visually relevant across diverse interior landscapes, from contemporary residences to commercial spaces.
From initial sketches to 3D printed reality
For more than two years, we worked closely with the Gantri team to achieve the desired technical results. Our process was rigorous and iterative, spanning from the first conceptual sketches to the development of complex three dimensional models and multiple prototypes. This collaboration allowed us to push the boundaries of sustainable 3D printed lighting, ensuring that the final result met the high standards of both durability and aesthetic quality.
