Reinterpreting Spanish heritage
The Persiana table light is a modern reimagining of the traditional wooden blinds found in Mediterranean homes. These "persianas" are essential architectural elements that have protected Spanish interiors from the sun for generations, creating a unique atmosphere of filtered light and elongated shadows. Our goal was to capture that timeless warmth and translate it into a contemporary object that brings a sense of domestic comfort and reliable style to today’s interiors.

Capturing the movement of light and shadow
The centerpiece of the design is the oversized stepped shade. This specific geometry mimics the way horizontal wooden slats filter sunlight during a summer evening, transforming a direct light source into a soft, adaptable glow. Perfect for dressers, sideboards, or console tables, Persiana creates a cozy ambiance that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The interplay of light through the layers of the shade ensures an inviting atmosphere in any room.
Sustainable 3D printing and material innovation
In collaboration with Gantri, the Persiana lamp is produced using high performance 3D printing technology and plant based materials. This process allows for the creation of the complex, stepped geometry of the shade with extreme precision and minimal waste. By combining artisanal inspiration with sustainable industrial innovation, we achieved a product that honors the legacy of traditional design while embracing the future of manufacturing.
Subtle details and warm aesthetics
While Persiana possesses a classic silhouette, a closer look reveals a wealth of interesting details. The open nature of the shade allows the light to breathe, creating a balanced dialogue between the solid volume of the base and the ethereal quality of the illumination. The selected color palette consists of earthy tones, directly inspired by the natural pigments found across the Mediterranean coast, reinforcing the lamp’s organic and welcoming character.
