ZUM
“Inspired by the bold geometric language of playgrounds”
PLAYING WITH FURNITURE PIECES
We drew inspiration for the Zum series from the rounded and oversized volumes found in mid century playgrounds. We began this collection with a versatile stool, an element we designed to encourage the same instinctive interaction children have with play equipment. This foundational concept evolved into a comprehensive seating family, including chairs and barstools, available with and without backrests.
We engineered the entire collection for maximum versatility; every piece is stackable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. This duality makes Zum an ideal solution for dynamic contract environments where architectural character must meet the rigorous demands of space efficiency and durability.

STRUCTURAL COHESION AND VERSATILITY
We developed the entire collection around a single constructive logic: a central cylindrical core that acts as the primary anchor. We oriented the legs around this axis while seamlessly integrating the seat and optional backrest into the same central element. This intelligent assembly system ensures structural integrity and allows us to maintain a cohesive aesthetic language across all versions and heights within the range.
ALUMINUM CRAFT AND RESILIENCE
By crafting the Zum pieces entirely from aluminum, we achieved remarkably lightweight structures that facilitate easy movement and handling. This choice of material, combined with our weather resistant finishes, enables a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor settings. Furthermore, the stackable design reinforces the practical value of the collection for high-traffic projects where space optimization is a primary requirement.
MINIMALISM WITH A PLAYFUL CHARACTER
With Zum, we aimed to balance a minimalist silhouette with a distinctly playful character. Depending on the finishes we select, the pieces can either become a bold focal point or blend harmoniously into understated environments. This adaptability ensures that the collection remains visually relevant across diverse landscapes, from contemporary residences to vibrant commercial and contract spaces.
